Dear Parishioners,
Please join me in welcoming Jackie Koch to our parish staff. Jackie will begin this week as our new parish secretary and I hope you will make a point to stop into the church office to introduce yourself and say hello.
Jackie comes to us from D.E. Harvey Builders where she served as Field Office Manager in their Lake Jackson office. Previously she served for over 18 years at BISD as a paraprofessional and a SEMS (Special Education) Clerk. She comes to us with strong clerical and computer skills.
Jackie earned her Associates of Arts Degree Cum Laude from Brazosport College and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston Clear Lake where she was inducted into the Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society in Education and was on the Dean’s List.
Jackie has been married to her husband, Paul, for 33 years and has one daughter Jennifer who lives in Houston. Jackie keeps busy serving at the Food Basket in Clute and serving at her church, First Christian Church, where she is involved in teaching Children’s Church, the E-Team (Evangelism and Outreach) and most recently as part of the Visioning Team, tasked with rebuilding and refurbishing the church after an extensive fire.
In her free time you’ll find Jackie rooting for the Texans, Rockets, Astros and Dynamo, baking, shopping, attending plays and musicals, and spending time with her family and friends.

Missional Communities
Our Committee on Missional Communities continues to evaluate and discern missional opportunities within our community. We will review topics discussed at Diocesan Council this year, and look at how they can be applied as St. Timothy's looks to aggressively move forward with a missional community mindset.
