St. Timothy's is a growing congregation
committed to spiritual and personal transformation within a loving
Christian community.
At St. Timothy's
we experience a movement that:
Begins in Community, which nurtures and accepts us,
giving us a taste of God's joy.
Opens us to Transformation through the healing love
of Jesus Christ.
Enables us to
hear God's call to Ministry, empowering us through
the Holy Spirit to reach beyond our community.
We believe that growing together in Christ transforms lives.
Our congregation was founded as a mission in 1956 and became a parish
in 1957. Today we are a community of 498 baptized members.
Our average total Sunday attendance is 210.
Our members are actively involved in
the community, evident in our parish life as a serious commitment
to lay ministry. We have over 30 ministries
that actively carry out the mission of the church.
To better coordinate these groups and
activities, our vestry reorganized the parish with a "council"
structure. Each organization is represented on the Parish Council.
This council facilitates the communication, scheduling and planning
of parish activities.
