We're glad you're here! Welcome to St. Timothy's - a warm and welcoming parish worshiping in the Episcopal tradition since its founding in 1955. "I could feel the love in the walls of this place" is how one person described their first visit. Indeed, Christ's love abounds in this holy place and in the hearts of God's faithful people.
St.Timothy's mission and ministry is centered on the healing and reconciling love of Jesus Christ and is marked by a deep value for music, the arts, and Christian formation for all ages. We humbly seek to serve God by caring for the least of these (Matthew 25:40) in the local community and abroad. Being alongside one another (even if social distancing) in prayer, fellowship, and service is our favorite place to be. You are welcome to come alongside too! Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, our comprehensive ministry included: a small, quiet communion service followed by a larger service enlivened by splendid music, both traditional and contemporary on Sunday mornings. Our Sunday School classes are for all ages, including a Montessori curriculum for ages three through fourth grade. St. Timothy's provides many opportunities for outreach and spiritual growth - from "The Hall", our daily after-school ministry to our weekly prison ministry, small groups, an active Sunday evening youth group, Pub Bible Studies (for adults, of course!) and opportunities to sing and play music together from contemporary to the best of the English Choral tradition, and much more. |
