Welcome to St. Timothy's, Lake Jackson. We're glad you're interested in our church and hope you'll come see us in person. This is an extraordinary parish- Christ-centered, cherishing Holy Scripture, deeply involved in the arts and active in local outreach and international mission.
We seek, however imperfectly, to show God's love and to demonstrate the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the community around us in need of deliverance from hollow materialism, weariness of sin and fragmented relationships. In short, we care about people - all people. And especially those who are seeking, who have doubts or are not sure what they believe.
On Sunday mornings you may choose either a small, quiet communion service or a larger service enlivened by splendid music, both traditional and contemporary. Our Sunday School classes are for all ages, including a Montessori curriculum for ages three through third grade. St. Timothy's provides many opportunities for outreach and spiritual growth - from "The Hall", our daily after-school ministry to our weekly prison ministry, small groups, an active Sunday evening youth group, Pub Bible Studies (for adults, of course!) and opportunities to sing and play music together from contemporary to the best of the English Choral tradition, and much more.
Our purpose can be summed up in our motto - "Growing together in Christ transforms lives."
