Purpose: to offer opportunities to be transformed by the living Christ through the study of Scripture, history and tradition, liturgy, prayer and other spiritual disciplines until our vision, thoughts, words and actions, individually and corporately, embody Christ.

Sunday Morning Formation for children, youth and adults offers opportunities for study and growth, either as a student or as a peer mentor, teacher or catechist.
Inquiry Class - For
those who are new to the Episcopal Church, Inquiry is a place to
learn more, a place of welcome, asking questions and discerning
God's call. Meets for six to eight Sundays from 09:40 AM to 10:30
AM in the rector's study. Just come...no pre-registration is needed.
Soundings Class is for people who are interested in learning more about the Episcopal Church. This class prepares people to be baptized and confirmed or received into the Episcopal Church.
Communion Meditations and Retreat are designed to deepen the children's enjoyment of the Eucharist. This program is offered every other year to second and third graders.
Small
Group Ministry provides opportunities for prayer, Bible study and spiritual growth
in groups of no more than ten.
Evangelism
Purpose: to empower the congregation in the shared responsibility to welcome and invite people to become a part of the community of God here at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church.

First Sunday is a one time orientation class for individuals new or returning to St. Timothy's. It is held in the library on the first Sunday of each month.
Greeters welcome newcomers at each worship
service.
Newcomers Ministry assists with the
Inquiry Classes and the assimilation of newcomers into the life
of the parish.
Publicity provides public information of parish events.
Fellowship
Purpose: to plan, coordinate, and oversee activities and special events that promote and encourage the nourishment of parish community in Christian fellowship.

Coffee Hour is a time for fellowship and refreshments in the parish hall each
Sunday beginning at 8:30 am. and continuing until after the 10:45 a.m. service.
The
Brown Bag Bunch is a group
of people over 50 years of age that meet once a month for lunch
and fellowship.
Members and Ministry (M&M)
Purpose: to coordinate St. Timothy's efforts to enable members to get connected, stay connected, and do ministry.

Communications coordiantes the parish newsletter and web site.
Outreach
Purpose: to respond to the Christian imperative that the hungry be fed, the naked clothed, the homeless housed, and that others who are less fortunate share in the Good News of the Gospel.

Fix-it
Ministry does minor repairs
to homes of those unable to make the repairs themselves.
Angel
Tree and CPS Gift Programs provide food
and gifts for families in need at Christmas.
Living
Nativity is an outdoor reenactment
of the manger scene at Christmas time.
The Hall is
the after school program for intermediate age students.
Brotherhood
of St. Andrew meets every other week for breakfast and Bible
Study or an inspirational speaker.

Pastoral Care
Purpose: to seek, through prayer and service, to bring comfort, healing, and support to fellow parishioners.

E-Prayer
Circle offers prayers of
need or thanksgiving using e-mail for anyone requesting them.
Flower
Deliverery gives joy to
people with flowers from the altar after church.
Friendshp Guild supplies a meal to people with special needs caused by unusual circumstances.
Grace Group is a small group which looks at old wounds that may be causing present day problems.
The Gathering Place once a month hosts guests with Alzheimer's for four hours of fun, games and a hot lunch so their caregivers can have free time to do whatever they wish.
Greeting Card Ministry remembers our members birthdays and anniversaries and lets them know we're thinking of them if they're under the weather.
Healing Prayer Group prays for healing for anyone who requests it and continues to study and promote methods of healing prayer.
Transportain helps people, otherwise unable, to get to church or a doctor's appointment.
Worship
Purpose: to assist the Rector in shaping transformative worship services which contribute to restoring our unity with God and one another in Christ. Through our worship together, we not only receive joyfully the Word of God and the bread of life, but are also inspired to share these gifts with our neighbors.

Acolytes carry the cross and the candles,
and assist the priest in the worship.
Altar
Guild prepares the altar.
Ushers distribute the worship leaflets
and assist the worshipers.
Lectors read the Bible lessons at
the worship service.
Chalicers administer the wine at the Eucharist.
Eucharistic Visitors to the Ill or Infirm take the bread and
wine to those unable to attend church.
Music Ministry provides music for the worship services and includes the Children's Choir (grades K-6), the Joiful Noyse (grades 7-adult), the Senior Choir and the Handchime Choir.
Youth Ministry
Purpose:to mentor youth to enable them to live into the Baptismal Covenant, to develop Christian community that is a sanctuary for youth, to integrate all youth into the full life of the parish, and to support our families as the center of spiritual formation for youth.

EYC (Episcopal
Youth Community) meets every Sunday evening at 4:00 p.m. for fellowship,
fun and Bible study. Summer activities include spiritual retreats, mission trips
and WAC (Wednesdays at Church).
