United Thank Offering Ingathering, May 12

Stop by the UTO display and browse through the UTO newsletter. It contains lots of information about how UTO distributes its funds and articles about "our change changing lives" in Colorado and Tanzania.

Pick up your blue box, take it home, and place coins in it in gratitude for daily blessings.

Pick up a UTO Offering envelope so that you can continue to use your Blue Box after the May 12 Ingathering, empty your box at home, place the amount (coin, cash, check) in the UTO Offering envelop, bring it to church on May 12 and place it in the offering plate.

Safeguarding God's Children, June 1, 9:00-Noon

If you have not yet completed Safeguarding God's Children or need to be re-certified (due every five years), please plan to attend, especially if you work or will be working with any of our youth. The registration process must be completed online. You will receive an e-mail through the safeguarding records system (srs) to initiate the registration process. Please check your e-mail as several have been sent already. If you are not sure whether you need to attend, please contact me at lrcrim@concast.net and I will check your certification dates.

The Green VBS, June 17-21

Grounded in Jesus’ Parable of the Sower, ReNew: The Green VBS brings together the Bible and environmental stewardship. Kids will grow in faith as they play, learn,sing, and work toward renewing their congregations and communities.

By serving in the community and inviting the community into church, kids demonstrate that being green can be easy, faithful and fun. Although current threats to our environment can seem scary, ReNew is about hope, opportunity, and service. Kids and congregations lead the way as stewards of the earth.

What happens when heads, hearts, and hands are in harmony? Kids grow in faith, have fun, and change the world.

Donation Program information for 2012-2013 is available at the M&M table. The benefits add up. Because of our usage through April 2011 St. Timothy’s was able to donate $978.02 to Home Delivered Meals. Let's keep supporting this good cause. Contact Adrian Zabala for more information.
