Advent Lessons & Carols
This beloved Christmas tradition celebrates the Advent of Christ, reflecting his coming through the breadth of Holy Scripture. Nine lessons are read by young and old alike, and the congregation and community are interwoven through the singing of carols by both choir and congregation. Featured works from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker as part of an organ recital prelude, followed by choral works from Bach, Rutter, Chilcott and others in the English Choral tradition. Come join us to rejoice in our coming King!
Paul Butt, organist and choirmaster, will play and direct the St. Timothy Choir. The Festival begins at 6:00 p.m.
